Dinosaurs, students and teachers invade the Geopark
The 3000 m2 exhibition is constituted by: complete skeletons and skulls from dinosaurs, the primeval birds, flying reptiles, flesh models and also dinosaur eggs, nests and eggs with embryos, claws and teeth, and also an educational area with a real gigantic skeleton of Diplodocus.
- Guided visit to the exhibition “Dinosaurs invade the Geopark”.
- Use of contents adapted to the different school levels.
- Applications to dinosaurs from Portugal
- Visit to the Educational Area with a real Diplodocus: students can learn about an excavation from Wyoming (USA).
- Pedagogical excavation of a replica of Tarbosaurus bataar. Students are paleontologists for an hour, learning and applying excavation and cleaning techniques and dealing with fossils using the tools of these scientists.
- Molding of dinosaur claws and teeth. Students make replica of real-size fossils and paint them.
